Do I need to cook my wraps?

egglife egg white wraps can be served cold, straight out of the package, or warmed up if you prefer. Since they’re fully cooked and ready-to-eat, they need not be warmed to a certain temperature, or even at all, before eating.

How do I heat up my wraps?

You can warm or heat your wraps. If warming in the microwave, start with 10 seconds and add a few additional seconds as desired. To heat on the stovetop, place your wrap in a skillet over medium/high heat for 15-30 seconds each side.

Do egglife wraps taste like eggs?

Most of our customers do not think so. We have 6 delicious flavors: original, roasted garlic & herb, everything bagel, sweet cinnamon, garden salsa, and southwest.

How long do egglife egg white wraps last?

If your egglife wraps remain sealed and refrigerated, they will stay fresh until the ‘best by’ date stamped on the back of the package. Once you open the package, we recommend you consume your wraps within 7 days.

Can egglife egg white wraps be frozen?

Yes! egglife wraps can be frozen for up to 3 months. To prepare, thaw your package of egglife in the refrigerator overnight. We recommend heating the wraps on a skillet for 10-15 seconds after thawing or blotting with a paper towel to eliminate any excess moisture. Upon thawing, please consume the wraps within 7 days. We do not recommend refreezing wraps after they have been thawed.

Do egglife egg white wraps have to be refrigerated?

Yes, egglife wraps must be refrigerated to preserve their freshness.

Is your packaging resealable?

Yes, our new packaging is now resealable! Find the seal on the front, left side of the packaging. To open, peel apart
the sides of the package, grab your egglife wraps, seal it and store back in the fridge!

How many egg whites are in an egglife wrap?

egglife wraps are made with 95% egg whites, which equates to approximately two large egg whites per wrap.

What is xanthan gum and why do you use it?

Xanthan gum is a natural ingredient produced by the bacteria Xanthomonas campestris. It’s great at thickening low fat things and keeping foods soft and pliable. Xanthan gum is naturally gluten free and dairy free, and it does not contain any allergens. It is considered vegetarian. Because we use so little of it in our wraps, it does not contribute significantly to calories, carbs, or nutrition.

Do egglife wraps contain artificial preservatives?

egglife egg white wraps do not contain any artificial preservatives. Rather, we use an ingredient called nisin as a natural preservative.

What is nisin and why do you use it?

Nisin is a natural preservative produced by the bacteria Lactococcus lactis. It is made up of protein building blocks (amino acids) that naturally deter the growth of certain bacteria that are known to spoil food. Nisin ensures egglife wraps stays fresh.

Are egglife wraps keto-friendly?

Yes, egglife wraps are compatible with a keto lifestyle. Made with 95% egg whites, egglife wraps have 11g+ protein and <3g carbs.

What are the natural flavors?

egglife utilizes natural flavors derived from natural sources such as vegetables, fruits, herbs, etc. as defined by the FDA. Unfortunately, we cannot disclose the specific flavors we use as that is proprietary information.

Is your facility free from allergens?

egglife EGG WHITE WRAPS and egglife POWER PASTA are manufactured at Egglife’s facility that is free from milk, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts (including coconut), shellfish and sesame. Egg is the only major allergen in our facility. Our Egglife plant is SQF (Safe, Quality Food) Certified, and we uphold guidelines provided by our SQF third party certifier which prevent cross contamination and create an allergen friendly facility.

egglife GRAB & GO is crafted with care at a trusted manufacturing partner that processes milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat, soy, sesame and tree nuts. The facility uses thorough cleaning procedures and a carefully scheduled production process to help prevent cross-contamination with allergens. What is egglife POWER PASTA?

egglife POWER PASTA is a first-of-its-kind, high protein, low carb pasta made with eggs, not flour. It has 18g+ protein and <5g carbs per serving and is ready in 3 minutes with no boiling required!

How do I cook egglife POWER PASTA?

egglife POWER PASTA can be heated on the stove top or microwave! For Stove Top, warm 1/3 cup water & 1 tbsp butter or oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Add pasta to skillet, stirring gently until coated. Cover for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss with your favorite sauce.

To microwave, gently shake the package to separate pasta. Pull back film 1 inch, add 1 tbsp water. Replace film and microwave for 40 seconds or until warm. Remove film and toss with your favorite sauce. Try our POWER PASTA in classic marinara, creamy alfredo, or spicy peanut sauce for a high-protein, low-carb twist on your favorite pasta dishes.

Is POWER PASTA refrigerated, frozen or shelf stable?
